The main goal of our work is to bring new Acapella music to the Church. In this way, as the bride of Christ, she can sing to the glory of our creator God - the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit.
Spiritual (church music) is a large part of my life. I have composed quite a few creative pieces in this area and a majority of these are based on themes from the Bible. These songs are written in modern Russian which also makes them different from traditional Russian Orthodox songs. This allows listeners to understand the word inspired by God, and to feel the harmony of the music. These songs can be performed not only from stage, but especially important and dear to me at worship services. Now these hymns are being sung during worship in different Christian communities in many cities in Russia, in the former Soviet Union, and also in other countries. Konstantin Zhigulin

A few years ago, the germ of an idea entered our minds that we might share our music with congregations of the church in Europe. We since held on to that thought, and finally in November of 2015 we were able to bring these songs to brethren in Germany and the Netherlands! It was an immense joy to sing in both Russian and in English (and be well-understood in both those languages!). Alongside more meditative songs, like "Simeon" and "Lord, I do believe", we also taught ones that are jubilant, such as "The Lord is risen from the grave," "Clap your hands, all you peoples," and others. In February and March of 2015 Psalom visited a number of congregations in PA, OH, WV, VA, MD. During this trip, in addition to the usual presentations in churches, there were times when we sang together with other Christian ensembles: with the Ohio Valley University Choir "The A Capella Singers Of Ohio Valley University", with the Geneva College Choir "The Genevans", and with the Youth Choir of Memorial Park Church. Each of these times was very uplifting and inspiring. Please, see our trip report below
